Teachers will develop fluency-building activities by writing short phrases and sentences using low-level words from the Dolch Word List.
Facilitator Directions
- Discuss the content of OTRA Slide: Fluency-Building Strategies.
- Distribute copies of Extension Activity Handout: Supplement to Fluency-Building Strategies Slide for all participants.
- Read the Step-by-Step Guidelines for Participants, and clarify procedures for participants.
- Allow 10-15 minutes; then discuss the activity.
