The Handout: Chunking is another lesson for students who continue to struggle with the adapted Partner Reading lesson. In this lesson, text is divided into meaningful phrases, or chunks, prior to students reading. When implementing this lesson, remember to model fluent reading while students follow along and emphasize chunking phrases together to enhance meaning.
