The Partner Reading instructional activity may need to be adapted for students who are not making adequate progress toward their reading goals. Review the Handout: Partner Reading, paying special attention to the Evaluation/Progress Monitoring and Adaptation Ideas sections of the lesson. If students continue to have difficulty meeting the objective, a new lesson, Tape-Assisted Reading, can be introduced.
