Let's discuss specific fluency building lessons. The first lesson is Partner Reading, which can be used without adaptations. It is the original lesson and is therefore located outside of the adaptations continuum. For struggling readers, Partner Reading can be adapted, which moves it into the continuum. Tape-Assisted Reading is a second lesson designed to teach the same objective for students who continue to struggle. Note the location of each lesson on the adaptations continuum.
